Unfortunately, we do not as we are a midwife-led, natural birth facility.
We are a cash based facility. We require a non-refundable deposit of R5 000 by 20 weeks pregnancy, and the balance at 36 weeks pregnancy. On that note, you are more than welcome to work out a payment plan with us, however, the deposit and balance are still payable by the designated dates.
While not advised, this is possible. However, we will always point our clients towards starting their pregnancy journey as soon as 8 weeks. This helps us get to know you and your personal needs, prepare you accordingly for the birth and to provide as much information as we possibly can in the months leading up to the birth.
We only do basic scans during your consultation without a printout. However, if you would like a printout, We can refer you to a sonographer or you are welcome to research where you would like to have your ultrasound done.
Yes, you are more than welcome to do so, should you be coming from a Government Clinic. We would simply ask that you visit us for your last 2 consultations. Clients doing Antenatal Care at a private facility are advised to see us as soon as possible.
x1 Initial Antenatal Visit - R1 520
x9 Follow Up Visits (including additional blood tests at 32 weeks) - R6 850
x1 Postnatal Visit- R700
TOTAL: R9 070
Yes, in fact, we encourage you to bring a birthing companion!
However, please note that Birth Room 1 only allows for 1 birthing companion, while Birth Room 2 allows for 2 birthing companions. This is purely because of the space available.
It is also important to note that we do not allow for extra visitors in the waiting area, as this may cause a distraction during the birthing process. We ask that only the mommy and birthing companion/s attend the birth.
Firstly, we would like to put your mind at ease by noting that our midwives are extremely patient with mommies, as we know, in most cases, it is truly the mothers desire to give birth in our facility. However, in the even that there is a danger to the mother or baby, we must refer the mom and/or baby to the nearest government or private facility at your own cost.
